Hi, I’m Avancini 👋
Welcome to my corner of the internet — a space where I share what I’ve learned (and what I’m still learning) as a software engineer, automation enthusiast, and lifelong tinkerer.
Who I Am
I’m a backend-focused developer with a background in physics and a strong love for clean code, smart systems, and meaningful automation. These days, I work remotely as a Senior Software Engineer for a US-based AI company. Most of my time is spent working with Python, building APIs with FastAPI, integrating large language models (LLMs), and crafting cloud-native data pipelines using tools like AWS Lambda, PostgreSQL, and Airflow.
Before that, I spent a good amount of time working on web scraping, RPA (robotic process automation), and reverse-engineering APIs to automate manual workflows in industries like healthcare and logistics. I’ve built everything from ETL pipelines to internal Python libraries, and I always try to balance robustness with developer-friendly design.
I started my journey in science — researching chaotic systems and nonlinear dynamics as a physics student. That experience taught me how to think analytically, write clear code, and break complex problems into manageable chunks. It’s also why I care so much about sharing knowledge in a clear and structured way.
What This Blog Is About
This blog is a place for me to:
- Share technical deep dives on Python, backend architecture, automation, and cloud tooling
- Document interesting challenges I’ve faced (and how I solved them)
- Explore the practical side of AI/LLMs, especially where they intersect with automation
- Talk about tools and workflows that help make development more efficient and maintainable
- Reflect on career and remote work experiences, especially in fast-moving, international teams
Whether you're an experienced dev, a curious beginner, or just someone trying to automate a boring task, I hope you'll find something here that resonates.
